The Invisible Bathmat

http://ping.fm/QqRY8 Hi, I live in Santa Monica, California. We have had our share of quakes but you know this is getting to be an epademic of quakes now all over the world. Spain a sleepy little country, is not built for this and not equiped for this, Are we? I don't think so! As advanced as we are here in the US, no one can predict an earthquake, each one is different.. It might shake or sway or roll. For me, I think that to keep safe from earthquakes we must build our buildings out of rubber and on rollers. Oh wait .. but what about the one that cracks the earth and swallows us all up.. I guess there is no defense , just roll with the punches or in this case with the rock and roll ha! No laughing matter. My heart goes out to all of the people that have been lost and have lost loved ones. I can only pray that if and when it happens to you that you are safe. I have lived through about 6 good hard quakes in my time here in California and I am not looking forward to another one. The Northridge quake was quite a wake up call for us here and it is my hope that the powers that be fixed as much as humanly possible to be prepared for the next one! Remeber there is always tomorrow for us all, one more day one more chance to make it all rite! don't give up! some prople have told me I am a little too positive lol but what is the alternative?
